This holiday season, we take time to reflect on the many blessings we’ve received and our gratitude to our Members for another exciting year of learning and growth.

In the spirit of giving and our commitment to community, we were fortunate enough to donate funds to local homeless shelters and food pantries in our areas, providing approximately 15,000 meals to those in need.

Among the organizations donated to is Welcome House, Inc., a faith-based agency in the Bismarck/Mandan area that provides people with short-term shelter, assistance in obtaining permanent housing and a variety of supportive services. Kelly Gunsch, Executive Director of Welcome House, expressed her appreciation for the contribution:

“Thank you NISC for reaching out to our mission and for your contribution. This was a wonderful surprise, and we are so grateful for your generous support.”

As a cooperative, we’re committed to the shared principle of giving back to the communities we serve, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to provide a better holiday season for so many. Below is a complete listing of the organizations that received donations:
