Director elections are held at the district level with an online ballot sent to voting Members within the respective district. The electronic ballot was launched on October 15, 2022, and closed on December 1. The new Directors will officially take office on January 12, 2023, and serve a three-year term.

“We are excited to welcome two new Directors to the NISC Board and two returning Directors. We greatly appreciate their willingness to serve and represent the Membership,” said NISC President and CEO Dan Wilbanks. “The Board is key to how we develop solutions for Members and  to ensure NISC stays focused on our strategic goals.”

NISC would like to recognize and thank retiring Directors Larry Knegendorf and Robert Loth. Knegendorf previously served as general manager for Baldwin Lightstream for 34 years and now serves on their Board of Directors. He was the last remaining original Director who was on the Board during the merger of CADP and NCDC that formed NISC in 2000. Loth has been the CEO of Central Texas Electric Cooperative in Fredericksburg, Texas, for over 25 years and served on the NISC board for 10 years.

“Both Larry and Bob will be greatly missed, and we look forward to working with our new Directors and the full NISC Board as we continue to navigate new challenges and opportunities and provide the best service and support possible to our Members,” said Wilbanks.
