Downtown Louisville to Host 2021 NISC Member Information Conference

Mandan, N.D., Sept. 7, 2021 :: National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), a leading provider of software and solutions to utility and broadband companies, will again host its annual learning event, the Member Information Conference (MIC), from Sept. 13-16 but at a new location – the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC) in Louisville, Ky.

For the first time in NISC’s 50-year-plus history, the MIC will be leaving St. Louis, Mo., and hit the road to Louisville. The four-day premier learning event will feature more than 100 concurrent sessions and two inspirational general sessions.

“The MIC has grown far beyond just your typical user conference,” says Ed Wolff, NISC vice president of Professional Services, Sales, & Marketing. “Our first goal is, of course, to ensure Members are getting the most value possible from NISC solutions, but we also host Member-led sessions where the users of our enterprise software themselves lead the class from their perspective. the MIC is also a great opportunity to show our Member-Owners first-hand the innovations we have developed since we last had the opportunity to be together.”

The theme for this year’s MIC is ‘Together’ – celebrating all NISC Members as they power and connect their communities. NISC is better because of the Members we serve. And we’re all better Together.

From financials to operations and all points in-between, the 2021 MIC will provide more than 100 sessions on the latest enhancements to NISC solutions, updates on the technology roadmap and discussions of issues facing the utility and broadband industries. This year, we’re excited to have 51 NISC Members leading 28 sessions and sharing best practices with fellow attendees, sharing tips and tricks and personal experiences with the NISC enterprise software.

Partner Pavilion
As the hub for the MIC’s events, the Partner Pavilion is home to NISC’s Consulting Booth and Solutions Lab, where attendees can meet with NISC subject matter experts, as well as 39 exhibiting partners and vendors showcasing a variety of solutions and services valuable to Member organizations.

Opening General Session
Mon., Sept. 13 at 5 p.m. | Dan Wilbanks, President and CEO of NISC
What NISC and our Members have been able to accomplish over the past year and a half would not have been possible if we hadn’t worked together. Through the challenges, we’ve all found new ways to achieve goals and continue serving our members and customers. The 2021 MIC Opening General Session features NISC President and CEO Dan Wilbanks along with some special guests as they share highlights from the past year, NISC’s focus and strategy for the future, and the power of collaborating, innovating, and overcoming obstacles – Together.
