NISC Enterprise Software Users Descend Upon Las Vegas for Four Days of Learning
Las Vegas, Nevada, September 15, 2026 – National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), a leading provider of enterprise software and solutions to energy and communications companies, kicked off its premier learning event, the Member Information Conference (MIC) on Sept. 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
NISC President and CEO Doug Remboldt set the stage for an engaging week of learning by sharing NISC’s vision for the future and the key role NISC Members play in the next generation of technology solutions. He shared his belief that together, we can create something much greater than any of us could imagine alone, expanding on the year’s theme, “INNOVATION BUILT TOGETHER.”
“This year’s MIC has record-breaking attendance. The fact that more than 3,500 Members, guests and partners from across the country and beyond have chosen to spend their week with us is simply humbling,” said Remboldt. “I look forward to this event every year because I love connecting with our Members and hearing how they are using our solutions to serve their communities. It’s also an opportunity to collaborate with them on ways we can continue to elevate and enhance our software to help them more efficiently do their jobs every day.”

The Opening General Session also featured special guest speaker Scott Klososky, who has stood on the nexus between technology and humanity throughout his career. He has worked to define and help organizations discover the ideal blend of technology and human effort. He is widely recognized for his ability to forecast how technology will impact organizations, industries and our world, and shared his perspective with the capacity crowd.
This year’s MIC also introduced its first-ever pre-conference workshops. The sold-out workshops featured sessions led by NISC subject matter experts, who provided in-depth training on best practices with real-world applications.
“We’re always optimistic about the new things we try at the MIC but rarely is the response from Members as immediate and positive as it’s been for the new pre-conference workshops. Within the first 48 hours of registration, we had to start wait lists,” said Jared Gordon, Manager of the Learning Center at NISC. “What a wonderful gift it is that we get to serve such special people. They’re truly inspiring.”
The MIC is being held Sept. 14-17 and is an opportunity for NISC to learn more about industry challenges, unveil the newest technologies and share best practices to ensure all NISC Members are using the suite of enterprise solutions to its greatest potential. NISC’s four-day event revolves around their leading-edge technologies and features more than 160 concurrent sessions, with 42 of them being led by the Membership themselves, sharing best practices with fellow attendees and revealing tips, tricks and personal experiences with the NISC enterprise software.
