Louisville, KY, Sept. 24, 2025 – National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), a leading provider of enterprise software and solutions to energy and communications companies, delivered an across-the-enterprise roadmap for strategic development in the much-anticipated Energy & Communications Industry Outlook: Member and Solution Strategies during the 2025 NISC Member Information Conference (MIC) in Louisville, Ky.

NISC product leaders provided an update on the IT cooperative’s most important enterprise initiatives and provided insight into future solution development. The session served as an industry kickoff to the week of collaboration and a preview of what Members can learn about in the more than 180 educational sessions.

Additionally, various NISC Members in the audience joined Jason Bartsch, NISC Vice President of Product Management, to provide their insights on how they’re utilizing NISC’s latest features and functionality to enhance their business operations.

The sessions provided development highlights to the NISC Membership in attendance, most notably how artificial intelligence, the NISC AI Assistant, is being leveraged across the NISC Enterprise System. Announcements were made about revolutionary developments in communication methods which will elevate the customer experience, including AI integration to enhance two-way communications through NISC’s Messenger Conversations, announced during the sessions.

Customer engagement was also a focus of the sessions, with online self-service functionality discussed in relation to the end user desire for digital signups and online self-service.

iVUE Connect anchored the presentation with an update on progress and feature prioritization. iVUE Connect Operations announced major updates, ushering in a new path to greater efficiency and major mapping updates and enhanced ticketing features and dashboards.

“We’ve made a lot of progress over the past year, whether it’s launching new features and functionality in NISC solutions or exploring new technologies like AI,” Bartsch said. “Our Members are critical in helping our product team prioritize our most important initiatives, and the MIC is our opportunity to share what we’ve accomplished and where we’re headed in the future.”

The MIC is NISC’s premier learning event and is held Sept. 22-25. The event is an excellent opportunity for NISC to learn more about industry challenges, unveil the newest technologies (including AI) and share best practices to ensure all NISC Members are using the suite of enterprise solutions to the greatest potential.
