During the Utility Industry Outlook session at the 2023 Member Information Conference (MIC), NISC’s Director of Product Management Jason Bartsch moved to the edge of his on-stage seat.
“I want to run out into the crowd and give high fives because we have completed our SmartHub redesign,” Bartsch said.
NISC’s SmartHub web and mobile application has been undergoing a redesign, complete with a new, more user-friendly design. NISC is excited to announce that the newly refreshed SmartHub is now available for all NISC utility Members.
“We rolled out a new interface to the SmartHub mobile app in 2019, which greatly improved the usability,” said Amber Wesche, Product Manager at NISC. “This latest redesign provides a streamlined look and feel to the web platform, but goes far beyond user interaction and efficiency, improving the architecture of the solution to make it more adaptable for future enhancements.”
While the streamlined look and usability will be immediately noticeable through the upgraded web interface, the technological foundation for the product has also been greatly improved. The application’s architecture has been enhanced for added security and adaptability for future integrations and improvements.
NISC utility Members are encouraged to make the move to the new NISC SmartHub as soon as possible, with the goal of having all utility Members on the upgraded application by February of 2024.
