Lake Saint Louis, Mo., July 9, 2026 — National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), a leading provider of IT and software solutions to energy and communications organizations, has been recognized as one of the 2026 Top Workplaces in the St. Louis area by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, ranking 23rd on the list for large companies. NISC was also recently recognized by the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals as a Top 10 Workplace for young professionals in the area.

NISC was one of 48 companies with more than 500 employees in the greater St. Louis area recognized on the Top Workplaces list. Rankings for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch Top Workplaces were based off responses from the employees themselves. Employers were ranked based off employee feedback on the following issues relating to workplace culture: alignment, coaching, connection, engagement, leadership, performance and what they call “the basics,” which include pay, benefits, training and more.

NISC was also one of 10 employers named a Top Workplace by the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network. A diverse committee of Young Professionals Network members determine each year’s award winners after thorough review and evaluation of all nomination applications. Award criteria includes creative ways to recruit, hire, engage and retain young professionals, competitive benefits and professional development opportunities.
