Lake Saint Louis, Mo., October 2, 2025 – National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC), a leading provider of enterprise software and solutions to communications and energy companies as well as public power entities, announced the launch of Messenger Conversations, an application that allows its Members to provide chat-based support through their websites, text messaging or Facebook messenger.

Messenger Conversations is available as part of NISC’s Multi-Channel Messenger solution and allows customer service representatives at NISC Member organizations to provide live chat support for their customers. Chats can be sent through the Member’s website, a text message, Facebook Messenger and can include attachments like photos that can help identify issues with equipment.
The two-way messaging feature is also available through NISC’s SmartHub web and mobile application, both for customers to submit chats through their mobile devices and for customer service representatives to respond. NISC Members will have access to chat history and dashboards to measure and improve support.
Beginning this fall, Members will be able to integrate NISC’s new AI Assistant solution with Messenger Conversations to enhance support using artificial intelligence. AI Assistant will be able to help customers answer basic questions before routing to a support agent for help with larger issues.
NISC’s Multi-Channel Messenger enhances customer connection through a variety of communication channels including email, text messaging, push notifications, printed letters and interactive voice responses.
