- a POSITIVE ID® – a MATCH, NO MATCH or NO RECORD FOUND reply based on a search of the Equifax nationwide consumer credit reporting database. POSITIVE ID positively identifies a new customer with match results that include full name, current and former addresses, age, other names and addresses associated with the applicant's Social Security number. You also get the benefit of fraud protection via SAFESCAN® (by Equifax) which alerts you to questionable or potentially suspicious information elements.
- Equifax Credit Ratings – Evaluate your applicant’s credit worthiness based on his/her credit history and liabilities. Using this information and the applicant’s iVUE credit history, NISC calculates a star rating (1-5 stars) and deposit amount.
- Unpaid NCTUE Records – data from the National Consumer Telecom & Utilities Exchange, Inc. (NCTUE) database containing all the information (new connects, uncollectables, and defaulted and/or fraudulent accounts) in the Unpaid Closed Accounts (UCA) record as reported by other NCTUE members
