Keeping up with industry trends, NISC updates, critical information and helpful peers who do what you do but work hundreds, if not thousands, of miles away, can be tough. To help you get the information you need and tap peer’s expertise to solve problems and find solutions, we offer The NISC Community, an interactive Web site designed for you.
The NISC Community website brings together NISC employees, your peers, tools and resources designed to foster communication and collaboration between you and members of the greater NISC Community. It’s a knowledge base of NISC products, services, processes and personnel that is available from any computer or internet-capable mobile device at any time.
The benefits of the NISC Community includes:
- forums where users can post product support inquiries, share best practices or discuss new and innovative uses of technology,
- information and peer connections available to any member of the NISC Community,
- on-going discussions on NISC service instances between you, other NISC users and NISC staff,
- productivity tools can help streamline business processes,
- help to make communication on and off site efficient and available at any time,
- valuable online learning tools available at the click of a button -- just another way NISC supports its products after implementation, and
- peer connections that lets NISC software users receive answers they need to effectively use the power of the iVUE Enterprise System.
A few of the things you can do on the NISC Community website include:
- post, review and offer answers to product support questions
- get to know NISC employees and Members/Customers via user profiles and profile RSS feeds
- create and edit content just like you would in common word processing applications
- use the document collaboration features to work together creating text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.
- gain access to online demos and learning tools to better support NISC products and services
We invite you to Join and use The NISC Community to get help fast, learn quickly and stay connected.
If you have not yet registered for the NISC Community, please do so via the Community tab on your iVUE Launcher. Enter your first and last name as well as your e-mail address if it is not already entered. Enter your iVUE username (which is usually your first initial and last name) plus your Enterprise ID as your NISC ‘Community User’ name (ex: jsmith12345). Create and enter a password for your NISC Community account. Your password must be at least six (6) characters long and is case sensitive. Enter the password again in the ‘Confirm’ field. Once you have entered this information, click the ‘Register’ button at the bottom right corner of the launcher window. The iVUE Launcher automatically opens with the NISC Community tab in focus. To access the NISC Community, you can click the link at the top left of the Launcher; however, once you have registered, you can access the NISC Community at any time by typing ‘community.nisc.coop’ in your Web browser’s URL window.
