NISC® Members/Customers have expressed a heightened interest regarding disaster recovery and business continuation. NISC always has and continues to provide a best-effort approach to system recovery in the event of a disaster. However, this approach may fall short of the expectations of a comprehensive recovery plan. To fill the need for comprehensive, reliable and timely recovery, NISC has developed an offering to provide business continuation with the smallest requirement on the Member/Customer’s end. NISC's Disaster Recovery service maintains data at a hosted location away from the office. In the event of a disaster, all that is required for the Member/Customer to access their most current data is a Windows® PC and internet access.
