2010 NISC Community Award for Service Excellence
During the 2009 NISC® Member Information Conference in St. Louis last fall, we hosted the first annual awards program for The NISC Community Award for Service Excellence. This awards program recognizes Customers, Members, Associate Members and their affiliates who comprise the NISC Community and have achieved service excellence in three categories: people, process and technology.
We are proud to announce that NISC is once again officially kicking off this exciting awards program for the coming year. The 2010 NISC Community Award for Service Excellence is a program that consists of the following three awards:
- Service Excellence in People: Service Distinction Award
- Service Excellence in Process: Innovation Award
- Service Excellence in Technology: Technology Award
At NISC, our mission is to partner with other Members of the NISC Community to deliver excellent services and solutions. These awards will focus on how our products and services play a role improving lives through service delivery improvements, improving processes for effectiveness and efficiency, or using the power of technology to improve and transform business.
We invite your organization to submit an entry for one of the Service Excellence Awards so that all of us in the NISC Community can recognize and honor the way in which you serve your customers with excellence and distinction.

2009 NISC Community Awards Winners
During the awards banquet during the 2009 Member Information Conference, the NISC Community Award for Service Excellence recognized three cooperatives who documented their experiences using NISC products to enhance or improve their customer service experience. Awards were presented to:
- Mountain Telephone (West Liberty, KY) - Service Excellence in People: Service Distinction Award for their MetaSwitch project
- Snapping Shoals EMC (Covington, GA) - Service Excellence in Process: Innovation Award for their initiative to integrate the workflow module of OnBase to manage the bad check collection process
- Dickey Rural Networks (Ellendale, ND) – Service Excellence in Technology: Technology Award for their Auto Provisions Phone Services project
