MultiSpeak is an XML (eXtensible Markup Language) standard developed by the National Rural Electric Cooperative's (NRECA) Cooperative Research Network (CRN). The standard consists of a Document Type Definition (DTD) of file and format specifications. This common data model for software used by most distribution cooperatives will go a long way toward increasing the ease with which different software packages can be linked. NISC recently became the first CIS vendor to become MultiSpeak certified. |
