The People Services Division is dedicated to partnering with NISC's business units to enhance the quality of work life and maximize the potential of all our employees. Our mission is to uphold NISC's reputation as an employer of choice and to support each employee in their role as they contribute towards the success of NISC and our Members/Customers. The People Services Division is committed to providing innovative, practical human resource solutions that support the organization's overall strategic direction and core values. Members of the division are responsible for organizational development, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee relations, recruitment and selection, employee retention, internal communications and HR legal compliance and administration. This division also works closely with the CEO in support of the NISC Board of Directors.
Jan Bryzeal is Vice President of the People Services Division. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in HR Management from Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., an Associates of Applied Science degree from St. Louis Community College and a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo. Jan has earned SPHR certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and is a past president and board member of the Human Resource Management Association (HRMA) of Greater St. Louis, the St. Louis Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to joining NISC, Jan was Director of Human Resources for REJIS, a public sector technology organization, for 27 years.
